Social Media Content Creator

Location: Partially Remote (must be located within Centre Wellington)

Compensation: $30/hour

Hours: 15–20 hours per week

Start: November 2025

  • Two Birds Marketing is seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media Content Creator to join our small but growing team.

    You’ll play a key role in helping our clients showcase their work and connect with their audiences through engaging, authentic social media content.

    • Curate and create custom content for 3–5 clients (starting with 2 during training, with room to grow).

    • Capture high-quality photos and videos on-site at client locations within Centre Wellington.

    • Write engaging captions and video descriptions tailored to each client’s brand voice.

    • Create social media posts using tools like Canva or VN.

    • Post and schedule content across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

    • Coordinate and collaborate with clients on-site and virtually to plan and refine content.

    • Participate in one 30-minute virtual meeting on Monday mornings with the Two Birds Marketing team.

    • Work independently to manage time and deliver creative content consistently.

    • Collaborate with other Two Birds Marketing staff and clients to develop marketing plans.

    • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local travel to client sites during daytime hours.

    • Strong photography and videography skills (phone or camera).

    • Excellent communication and writing skills.

    • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools; basic video editing skills preferred.

    • Familiarity with current social media trends and best practices.

    • Experience managing social media accounts for businesses or organizations.

    • Background in digital marketing, communications, or related fields.

    • College or university degree (or currently completing one).
