Account Manager – Digital Marketing & Social Media
Location: Partially Remote (must be able to meet with clients regularly in Centre Wellington and Guelph)
Compensation: $30-35/hr (based on experience)
Hours: 10 - 20 hours per week
About the Role
Two Birds Marketing is looking for a client-focused and strategic Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in social media and digital marketing who enjoys building relationships, leading client conversations, and developing effective marketing strategies.
As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a small portfolio of clients (starting with two), helping them identify opportunities to grow their businesses through social media, SEO, website improvements, and broader digital marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of client accounts.
Schedule, prepare for, and lead client meetings.
Build strong relationships with clients and serve as their primary point of contact.
Develop and recommend digital marketing strategies based on client goals.
Collaborate with clients on initiatives such as:
Social media marketing
Search engine optimization (SEO)
Website conversion and user experience improvements
Content marketing
Digital advertising strategies
Coordinate with the Two Birds Marketing team to ensure projects are completed successfully.
Monitor client progress and identify new opportunities for growth.
Communicate project updates, recommendations, and results to clients.
Requirements
Experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Confidence leading meetings and presenting ideas to clients.
Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into marketing plans.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular meetings in Centre Wellington and Guelph.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing client accounts in an agency, consulting, or marketing environment.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Experience with website optimization and conversion-focused marketing.
College or university degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
Experience working with small businesses.
